The surfactant, which reduces the surface tension between a liquid and a solid, a gas or another liquid, also features a detergent that is chemically tethered to the silicone to reduce leaching.
• The formulation makes Pro-Grade 988 Silicone White Roof Coating resistant to discoloration, which extends the life of its reflectivity and reduces the frequency of maintenance and replacement.
• The system provides long-term weathering protection and resists the effects of ozone, ultraviolet radiation and temperature extremes. With its high solids content and absence of hydrocarbon solvents, Pro-Grade 988 Silicone White Roof Coating can be applied in excess of 50 mils in a single coat without blistering, while maintaining maximum adhesion.
